This is one of those Hood restaurants that you don't walk in they only have a walk up window. The area has a lot of random ppl just hanging around because of the liquor store next door. However the breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the owner is very nice. I go there when I have a chance prices are decent and they only accept cash.

Always great food! Been going since I was a kid my oldest son is almost 26 and he takes his wife there occasionally plus I used to take my youngest son almost 17 every year for breakfast on his birthday! I just went on my 46th birthday this past Tuesday!

Straightforward diner food done well. Nothing unusual about the place, but good people cooking simple basics. Hash browns are all potato and crisped nicely, corned beef hash likewise crisped up. Prices are very fair. They do close about three, entirely a breakfast and lunch crowd, but the place was pretty full during our visit. Will be back.

I've been visiting this establishment for more than 15 yrs the food is good an always cooked fresh. There's nothing like going into a place an the people know you by name, plus they know what you may order. It make you feel like family, great place in the hood nice people and good food. ...

Pulled up in Chicago minutes before 8 AM and nothing seemed to be open on the west where we were, but the drive-in said it was open, and it did not disappoint! They only accept cash but thankfully I had money on me today. The menu was on a piece of cardboard — I enjoyed the originality. #holla

They are professional as far as making sure you have napkins, jelly, butter, salt n pepper....you don't have to worry about missing the essentials needed to enjoy the meal...you'd be surprised how many restaurants try to save on supplies by not giving you things you need and then act like they forgot when you ask them
